Job summary

Lancer Scott is seeking an experienced Fire Door maintenance professional to service a major hospitality client in the Basingstoke area, ensuring works comply with building regulations and client expectations. You will assess, quote, and coordinate materials while maintaining precise records and clear communications.

The role supports account and billing teams and offers opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding business focused on quality construction and facilities management

Qualifications

• Experience in general Building Services Maintenance work.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to produce clear, professional notes and emails.
• Comfortable working with multiple systems and maintaining accurate records.
• Problem-solving mindset with practical application.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance of Fire Doors for a large hospitality client ensuring all works meet building regs and current legislation and are completed within the required SLA’s.
• Install and finish plasterboard, skirting and boxing in on a range of different spaces.
• Assess each job and produce a quote detailing hours required and materials.
• Liaise with the client on queries and explain technical specifications of products.
• Certify each job meets required standards and provide paperwork for client records.
• Update the job log with notes and upload relevant documentation.
• Ensure all required materials are requested and delivered to the correct address.
• Purchase additional materials and equipment if necessary.
• Liaise with the client on queries and explain any issues on a job.
• Support the Account Manager and Billing Team with query management to aid invoicing.

What will be my core responsibilities?

Working with the Premier Inn to provide a comprehensive Fire Door maintenance service across the Basingstoke area, ensuring all legislation requirements are met and the quality of work is to the client’s satisfaction.

• Carry out maintenance of Fire Doors for a large hospitality client ensuring all works meet building regs and current legislation and are completed within the required SLA’s.
