Job summary

Together Housing is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to join our Salford team. You will deliver high-quality repairs across our properties, often completing jobs in one visit, with a focus on right-first-time workmanship and customer care.

The role covers both tenanted and vacant properties, with a broad range of trades applied to maintain our property standards. The position requires a full UK driving license and NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a relevant trade, plus previous building repairs experience

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving license is required.
• Experience across trades typically expected of a qualified technician in building repairs and maintenance.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle residents politely and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs to tenanted and vacant properties per tickets, slots, specs and drawings.
• Aim to complete repairs in one visit with high workmanship and standards.
• Organise work to minimise non-productive time and reallocate tasks as needed.
• Protect tenants' furniture and belongings, clean up after work, and liaise with customers.
• Use initiative to diagnose and undertake repairs beyond the exact job if needed, with approvals as appropriate.
