Job description

Due to contract expansion, we are seeking a Multi Skilled Operative to join our team. As a Multi Skilled Operative, your main duties will include repairs and refurbishment activities to our occupied accommodation properties, delivering best-in-class customer service and satisfying all safety, quality, and cost control standards. The primary responsibilities involve completing general repairs on homes, such as changing doors, taps, baths, and fixing radiators. The successful candidate will perform varied property maintenance tasks and carry out property inspections.

Role Criteria:

1. Experience and knowledge in 3 trades
2. NVQ level 2 or above in a core trade (desirable)
3. Full UK driving license
4. Team player with the ability to work independently
5. Flexible and willing to travel

All roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK. Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.

To drive a Mears vehicle, candidates must be over 21 years old, have held their license for over 3 months, and have fewer than 9 points.
