Multi Skilled Operative
Blackpool / Burnley
Full Time, Permanent, 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary up to £32,665.50 per annum, plus, company van & fuel card
Our housing teams provide rapid response and planned maintenance services for local authorities and registered providers, delivering over 5,000 repairs daily to a portfolio of around 1,000,000 homes across the UK. We offer a range of services across the housing sector, including regeneration, contact centre solutions, housing management, home improvement, facilities management, estate services, grounds maintenance, student accommodation, and new build projects.
About the Role:
Due to contract expansion, we are seeking a Multi Skilled Operative to join our team. Your main duties will include repairs and refurbishment activities in occupied accommodation, delivering excellent customer service while ensuring safety, quality, and cost standards. The role involves general repairs such as changing doors, taps, baths, fixing radiators, and carrying out property inspections.
Role Criteria:
All roles require candidates to have the right to work in the UK. Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To operate a Mears vehicle, you must be over 21, have held your license for over 3 months, and have fewer than 9 points.
As part of the recruitment process, we will conduct a DBS & BPSS check, as well as Security Clearance. Please provide relevant identification, including Proof of Address, References, a valid passport, and proof of UK residency for the last 5 years.
