Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team in the Reading area. The role involves electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant, equipment and building services to ensure a safe, reliable production environment.

The successful candidate will identify and manage equipment risks, update drawings, carry out PMs and fault find on a range of machinery including heavy industrial equipment.

Qualifications

• Recognised or Time Served Apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical maintenance.
• Strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Electrical qualifications to 17th Edition or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage equipment risks on site and update drawings.
• Fault finding on all types of machinery and PLC diagnostics.
• Support Health and Safety in the department.
• Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise for heavy industrial machines and cranes.
• Write risk assessments and permit documentation.
