Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to carry out Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance across plant, equipment and building services in the Reading area.

You will identify risks, manage preventative maintenance, fault-find on heavy machinery and operate on three-phase systems up to 440V. The role requires a strong, multi-skilled background and knowledge of safety and risk assessments within an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship completed or time-served in maintenance.
• Experience in manufacturing maintenance environments.
• Electrical qualifications up to 17th Edition (City & Guilds).
• Mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds Mechanical standard.
• Strong multi-skilled capability across electrical/mechanical domains.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage client risks on site; update drawings and spares, improve machinery performance and preventative maintenance.
• Operate new equipment and technologies to maintain production, coordinating PPMs with the client.
• Fault-finding on various machinery; support Health and Safety across the dept.
• Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise for heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes.
• Prepare and follow Risk Assessments, ensure compliance with permits and legislation.
• Work with the CAFM system to plan and document daily tasks; liaise with Site Services for building issues.
