Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team in the Reading area. You will perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance on Plant, Equipment and Building Services, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with safety standards.

The role involves identifying risks, carrying out preventative maintenance, fault finding on three-phase machinery, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and supporting the department with site services and documentation.

Qualifications

• Recognised or time-served apprenticeship completed.
• Strong experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Electrical qualifications to 17th Edition (City & Guilds 236 Pt 1-2).
• Mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds standard.
• Experience with three-phase motors, drives and inverters.
• Ability to fault find and supervise contractors.
• Capable of writing risk assessments and permits.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage equipment risks on site and update drawings.
• Maintain plant, equipment and building services using new technologies.
• Fault find on all types of machinery and support safety initiatives.
• Provide electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance team.
• Write risk assessments and permits; follow CAFM system for work orders.
