Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician in Milton Keynes to manage planned and reactive maintenance, liaising with senior management on the IFM programme and acting as the main site contact to deliver service excellence.

The successful candidate will operate in a commercial or industrial setting, hold a driving license with few points, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Qualifications

• Requires a multi-skilled maintenance background in industrial or commercial settings.
• Experience working in industrial or commercial environments.
• Valid driving license with <=6 points.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess and manage performance of planned and reactive maintenance.
• Advocate to senior management on Facilities Management matters in the IFM programme.
• Act as sole contact for sites in the IFM programme, ensuring service excellence.
• Support external suppliers and ensure compliance with DHL policies and legislation.

Pay Rate: £32,000

Grade: O

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 8 Hours per day, daytime

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Independently assess and manage the performance (quality, productivity, cost-effectiveness) with respect to both planned and reactive maintenance.
• Act as an advocate to the senior management team of the IFM programme on matters relating to Facilities Management..
• Act as sole contact for sites in the IFM programme, ensuring that the programme delivers service excellence..
• Provide support in the management of external suppliers to the IFM programme.
• Ensure Facilities Management compliance with legislation plus adherence to DHL policies and procedures.
