[Our client] seeks a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support maintenance and improvement of production and utility equipment in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. The role focuses on safe, efficient operations with minimal downtime and strong collaboration across shifts and departments.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering qualification (HNC or equivalent), broad electrical and mechanical skills, PLC experience, CMMS familiarity, and a proactive approach to continuous

Qualifications

• HNC in engineering or time-served apprenticeship.
• Strong multi-skilled capability across electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (e.g. FMCG, pharmaceutical).
• Proven fault-finding skills on electrical systems incl. motors, drives and sensors.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production and utility equipment.
• Diagnose faults and resolve issues quickly to minimise downtime.
• Support equipment calibration, repairs and set-up to site standards.
• Lead or contribute to problem-solving activities and engineering responses.
• Accurately complete maintenance documentation, including work orders and logbooks.
• Communicate effectively during shift handovers and across departments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support to production and other departments as needed.
