Jackson Hogg Ltd is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their client on a permanent basis.

Role covers two shifts (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm) with excellent salary, overtime, and ongoing training and development opportunities. The engineer will lead TPM, monthly PPMs, and resolve machine issues to maintain high plant availability.

Qualifications

• Time served engineer with recognised apprenticeship.
• Wide range of engineering skills including electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills on a wide range of plant and equipment.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• 18th Edition.
• Electrical bias preferred but mechanical considered.

Responsibilities

• Monthly PPM adherence for manufacturing and site assets.
• TPM support for production operatives.
• First point of contact to achieve SLA for reactive maintenance, changeovers where applicable.
• Support upkeep of shared site facilities (compressors, boilers, water treatment, lighting).
• Lead problem solving to address repeat equipment issues.
• Ensure machines are safe when handed back to production.
• Involvement in new technology research.
• PLC integration to identify root cause of breakdowns.

We are ideally looking for an electrical leaning candidate but we will consider mechnical bias too as there are plenty of training and development opporutnities on offer.

Job Description

• Monthly PPM adherence for manufacturing and site assets
• TPM support for production operatives
• First point of contact to achieve SLA for reactive maintenance, change overs where applicable
• To support the upkeep and maintenance of shared site facilities, i.e. compressors, boilers, water treatment plant, lighting, etc.
• Responsible for leading problem solving activities to solve repeat equipment related issues
• Ensuring machines are in a safe working condition when handed back to production
• Involvement in new technology research
• PLC integration to help identify root cause of breakdowns

Skills Required

• Time served Engineer, recognised apprenticeship
• Able to demonstrate competence in a wide range of engineering skills and disciplines including electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics.

• Proven maintenance experience of working in a high volume manufacturing environment.
