Myton Food Group is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing site. You will maintain, repair and improve machinery to keep downtime to a minimum and productivity high. The role is hands-on, requiring strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, fault finding and a proactive approach to prevention.

You’ll work under the Site Engineering Manager, perform routine maintenance, coordinate with production teams and keep accurate records of spares and service activities.

Competenze

• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in FMCG environment.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery such as conveyors, motors, pumps and packaging equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude for on-the-spot decisions.
• NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical/electrical engineering as a minimum qualification.

Mansioni

• Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance on production equipment to prevent disruptions.
• Respond to machinery breakdowns; diagnose, repair or coordinate external specialists.
• Perform machine adjustments and changeovers to maximise line efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Monitor and calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy, quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify process improvements and optimise productivity.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, schedules, repairs and spare parts inventory.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies; stay updated on industry developments.
