Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Manufacturing) in Knighton to join an established manufacturing business. You will receive on-the-job training on specialist production machinery and benefit from progression opportunities and uncapped overtime.

The role focuses on planned maintenance, breakdown responses, fault finding, and keeping equipment running safely. It operates a 4 on 4 off shift (days 6:00-18:00, nights 18:00-06:00) with overtime paid at time and a half.

Qualifications

• Experience working on production machinery or within a manufacturing environment.
• Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar.
• Commutable to Knighton.

Responsibilities

• PPMs and breakdown repairs on production equipment and site machinery.
• Fault finding, repairs, machine reliability, and general maintenance duties.
