Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Dumbarton to maintain heavy industrial machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will handle planned and reactive maintenance, focusing on reducing downtime and keeping production running smoothly.

The role offers in-house training, overtime opportunities, and a route to long-term development, with a 4-day working pattern (4 x 10-hour shifts).

Qualifications

• Experience working on heavy industrial machinery or in a manufacturing environment.
• Apprenticeship-trained or experienced in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Able to commute to Dumbarton and work a 4-day week with overtime.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical/electrical knowledge is essential.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance on heavy industrial production machinery.
• Work on conveyors, gearboxes, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics and drive systems.
• Troubleshoot engineering issues and support production to minimise downtime.
