Job summary

Supersede Recruitment Partners is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer in Worksop to perform maintenance on high-speed production machinery. The role covers both planned and reactive tasks in a busy FMCG environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong fault-finding skills, solid mechanical or electrical knowledge, and the ability to work confidently across day and night shifts in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Minimise machinery downtime and maximise production efficiency.
• Complete preventative maintenance schedules.
• Support continuous improvement and engineering projects.
• Work with production teams to ensure equipment safety and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow site health & safety procedures.

Multi Skilled Engineer– £48,000 + Benefits

Salary: £48,000 per annum

Shift: Days & Nights

Location: Worksop

We’re looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join a busy, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically or mechanically biased engineer who enjoys working in a high-volume production setting and wants to be part of a skilled engineering team.

The Role

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
• Minimise machinery downtime and maximise production efficiency
• Complete preventative maintenance schedules
• Support continuous improvement and engineering projects
• Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow all site health & safety procedures

About You

• Previous engineering experience within an FMCG/manufacturing environment
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Good mechanical and/or electrical knowledge
• Comfortable working days and nights
• Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
• Ideally qualified to an engineering apprenticeship/City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent level
