Job summary

SJS Recruitment is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in the Nottinghamshire area on Monday to Friday with a 3-shift rotation and a salary around £59,000. The role covers mechanical, electrical, and potential automation tasks in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will be responsible for proactive and reactive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and performance, while supporting site efficiency projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Solid background in FMCG, food or drink manufacturing.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with PLCs, conveyors and packaging machinery.

We're working in partnership with a leading FMCG manufacturing business that is currently seeking a hands-on Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their high-performing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability and performance of production equipment through both reactive and planned maintenance. You'll also play a key part in engineering projects aimed at enhancing site efficiency and equipment uptime.
