Job summary

Synergi Search & Select Ltd. is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a Nottingham manufacturing site. You will maintain and improve production equipment, respond to breakdowns, and perform planned preventative maintenance to maximise plant reliability and performance.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and a background in manufacturing, FMCG, or automated environments, with strong fault-finding skills and basic PLC experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Completed engineering apprenticeship preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, FMCG, production or automated environments.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Basic PLC fault-finding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns across the site.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
• Fault find on electrical systems including motors, drives, control panels and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on production machinery.
• Work on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability projects.
• Complete maintenance records using the CMMS system.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with site procedures.

Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge within a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established production facility in Nottingham.

Working as part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving production equipment, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to ensure maximum plant reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns across the site
