Job summary

Kinetic plc in Bromborough, England is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis. The role is on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 nights / 2 days) and offers around £52,000 per annum.

You should be an electrically biased engineer with a strong manufacturing background and proven fault-finding capabilities to keep production running and compliant with safety standards. You will perform proactive electrical maintenance, diagnostics, and PPM tasks across production machinery

Qualifications

• Electrical bias with fault-finding in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Fixing machine faults during normal shift activity.

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the Bromborough area, are looking for a Maintenance Engineer on shifts, working 4 on 4 off (2 nights/2 days). The salary for the role is £52,000 p.a. They are looking for an electrically biased engineer with a solid manufacturing background and strong fault finding capabilities.

Duties

• Fixing machine faults occurring as part of the normal shift activity.


• Carrying out preventative electrical maintenance activities and routine safety inspections.


• Fault finding and diagnostics in reactive breakdown or planned situations.


• Planned preventative maintenance on a variety of production machinery and site services.


• Ensure all breakdowns are dealt with promptly and efficiently whilst ensuring that all PPM schedules are maintained.


• Support project development.


• Follow and encourage stringent HSE and standard company practices.


• Practice continuous improvement and pro‑activeness for improved ways of working offering possible solutions.
