Job summary

TXM Recruit is recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Cheshire. The role is on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern with days and nights, featuring £55,000 salary and 1.25x overtime pay.

• Minimum Level 3 Engineering qualification.

• Solid experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and breakdown repairs across production and site services equipment.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
• Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities.
• Assist with capital projects and site improvements initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with statutory checks, GMP and site procedures.
• Maintain engineering stores and technical documentation.
• Support and coach colleagues on maintenance best practice.
• Deliver effective shift handovers and engineering communication.
• Contribute towards site KPIs including Safety, Quality, Performance and Service.

We're currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join an FMCG manufacturing business in Cheshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established engineering team within a fast-paced production environment where you\'ll play a key role in maintaining plant reliability, reducing downtime and driving continuous improvement.

The Role

• As a Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for:
