Job summary

KineticPlc in Bromborough is seeking a maintenance engineer for a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 nights/2 days). The role offers £52,000 per year and requires an electrically biased engineer with solid manufacturing experience and strong fault finding capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Fixing machine faults occurring as part of the normal shift activity.
• Carrying out preventative electrical maintenance activities and routine safety inspections.

• Planned preventative maintenance on production machinery and site services.
• Ensure all breakdowns are dealt with promptly while maintaining PPM schedules.
• Support project development.
• Follow and encourage HSE and standard company practices.
• Proactively seek improvements and solutions.

DUTIES:

• Fixing machine faults occurring as part of the normal shift activity.
• Carrying out preventative electrical maintenance activities and routine safety inspections.
• Fault finding and diagnostics in reactive breakdown or planned situations.
• Planned preventative maintenance on a variety of production machinery and site services.
• Ensure all breakdowns are dealt with promptly and efficiently whilst ensuring that all PPM schedules are maintained.
• Support project development.
• Follow and encourage stringent HSE and standard company practices.
• Practice continuous improvement and pro-activeness for improved ways of working offering possible solutions.
