Job summary

Kinetic plc is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (days) in Bromborough, on a permanent contract. The role runs 8.45am to 5pm with a salary of £45,000 per year.

Open to mechanical or electrical bias, candidates must be apprentice trained in their discipline and have solid manufacturing experience with fault-finding skills. Responsibilities include fault finding, conducting preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and supporting improvements across production machinery and site services.

Responsibilities

• Fixing machine faults during the shift activity.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on production machinery and site services.
• Ensure prompt breakdown handling and maintain PPM schedules.
• Support project development initiatives.
• Adhere to strict HSE and company practices.
• Pursue continuous improvement and propose better ways of working.

Maintenance Engineer (DAYS)

Contract: Permanent

Location: Bromborough, England, North West

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer on days, working 8.45am - 5pm. The salary for the role is £45,000 p.a. We are open to either mechanical or electrical bias, as long as you have a solid manufacturing background and strong fault finding capabilities. You must be apprentice trained in either mechanical or electrical disciplines.

Duties

• Fixing machine faults occurring as part of the normal shift activity.
• Carrying out preventative electrical or mechanical maintenance activities and routine safety inspections.
• Fault finding and diagnostics in reactive breakdown or planned situations.
• Planned preventative maintenance on a variety of production machinery and site services.
• Ensure all breakdowns are dealt with promptly and efficiently whilst ensuring that all PPM schedules are maintained.
• Support project development.
• Follow and encourage stringent HSE and standard company practices.
• Practice continuous improvement and pro-activeness for improved ways of working offering possible solutions.
