Job summary

Questech Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing company based in Ossett on an ongoing contract. You will work on production machinery, carrying out maintenance and responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.

The role requires apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering, strong fault-finding skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained or qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Multi-skilled with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Previous experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible to work continental day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Complete preventative maintenance schedules.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.

The Role
