Job summary

Imperium Recruitment LTD is seeking a motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a busy distribution centre in West Yorkshire. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, working to strict health and safety standards.

The role requires fault finding experience, CMMS familiarity, and a minimum Level 3 qualification, with a permanent contract and 42 hours per week. Salary is £44,000–£48,000.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Qualification or Equivalent.
• Experience with fault finding, continuous improvements.
• Previous experience in a maintenance role within the Engineering & Manufacturing sector.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Experience with CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise equipment downtime.
• Carrying out fault-finding on motors, sensors, drives, control systems, pumps, conveyors, and other industrial equipment.
• Supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Installing, modifying, and commissioning equipment where required.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and completing relevant documentation.
• Working closely with production and other departments to resolve engineering issues.
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with company health & safety procedures.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised engineering environment.
