Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd. in Knaresborough seeks a Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to maintain and optimise our manufacturing equipment.

You'll work a shift pattern including Earlies, Lates, Nights and weekends, with overtime paid. A competitive salary is offered along with a benefits package and opportunities for continuous improvement projects within a market-leading environment.

Qualifications

• Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias.
• Hold some form of Electrical qualification.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with 3-Phase electrics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• PLC fault-finding experience.
• Willingness to work Earlies, Lates, Nights and 1 weekend in 6 with overtime pay.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to minimise downtime.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency and output.

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Multi-Skilled

Location: Knaresborough, North Yorkshire

Salary: Basic £47,500 plus Benefits

Shift: Earlies, Lates and Nights - Will work 1 weekend in 6 which will be paid at Overtime rates

• Ideally worked within a manufacturing environment previously.
• Worked to 3-Phase Electrics as well as sound hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge and experience.
• PLC Fault-Finding experience.
• Be a self-starter as well as a team player.
• Be willing to work a Earlies, Lates & Nights shift pattern. You will work 1 weekend in 6 which is paid at attractive overtime rates on a Earlies shift.
