Pioneer Selection Ltd is sourcing a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician for a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Wakefield. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a 3-shift rotating pattern and a salary of £46,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Previous multi-skilled maintenance experience within industrial/manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience.
• Experience carrying out planned, preventive, reactive and breakdown maintenance.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across automated production machinery.
• Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns and carry out fault-finding.
• Diagnose and repair faults to minimise production downtime.
• Complete reactive and planned maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Work proactively to identify potential equipment failures and improve machine reliability.
• Support continuous improvement and engineering projects across the site.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures.

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of automated production machinery. You will play a key role in maintaining equipment reliability, minimising downtime and ensuring production runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across automated production machinery.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician within the UK manufacturing sector.
• Experience working with automated production machinery.
• Mechanical maintenance and fault-finding experience alongside a strong electrical skill set.
