South West Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a DAYS based role in Tilbury. You will work within the engineering team with strong mechanical and electrical skills, sometimes alone, as the plant undergoes investment and expansion.

The role covers PPM and reactive maintenance, machine start-up, CMMS management, and fault diagnosis to minimise downtime. You will contribute to continuous improvement and ensure clear handovers across shifts.

Formación

• Level 3 Engineering qualification (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
• Engineering/Technical background
• Manufacturing industry experience

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Days
The Engineer position is a DAYS only based role.

Working within the engineering team you will need to be comfortable with your mechanical and electrical skills to undertake working alone from time to time.

The plant is currently undergoing investment and expansion.

Role and Responsibilities of a Maintenance Engineer

• PPM & Reactive maintenance
• Undertake machine start-up, working closely with the production and hygiene team.

• To undertake fault diagnosis & implement corrective actions to minimise machine downtime.

Qualifications Required:

• Level 3 Engineering qualification (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
• Engineering/Technical background
• Manufacturing industry experience

This is a DAYS based role working 45 hours a week / 9 hours a day between 7am and 4pm Monday to Friday with a 1 in 3 call out rota

Salary is £45,000 plus Dartford Crossing covered, Pension, 33 days holiday and excellent overtime!
