Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Engineer

£40,000 - £45,000 + Training (Internal & External) + Technical Progression + Days (7:30am-3:30pm) + No Call Out + 26 Days Holiday + BH

Commutable from: Newton Abbot, Exeter, Torquay, Paignton, Teignmouth, Totnes, Dawlish, Ivybridge, Plymouth and surrounding areas.

Are you a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a days-based role where you can develop technically through structured internal and external training, while working for a market-leading manufacturer? Do you want to play a key part in continuous improvement projects and new equipment upgrades in a modern production environment?

On offer is a permanent position with a well-established manufacturing business where you'll be trusted to fault-find across electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems, with clear technical development routes and support for additional qualifications and courses (such as 18th Edition / IOSH where required).

You will be joining a specialist manufacturer that designs and produces critical safety products, backed by a larger group, giving long-term stability and the opportunity to develop your career. Due to continued demand and ongoing improvement projects, they are now looking to add to their maintenance team.

In this role you will carry out reactive and planned maintenance, support installs/commissioning and upgrades, drive lean and continuous improvement initiatives, and mentor apprentices as part of the engineering function.

This role would suit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing / industrial background, looking for long-term development, technical progression and involvement in improvement projects in a stable days-based position.

The Role:

• Electrical, mechanical and pneumatic fault finding and breakdown support
• Planned preventative maintenance
• Support equipment installs, commissioning, upgrades and improvement projects
• Drive continuous improvement / lean initiatives and support new product introductions
• Days-based: 37.5 hours, 7:30am - 3:30pm, with some overtime at 1.5x and no call out

• Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience
• Manufacturing / Industrial background
• Proactive mindset with an interest in continuous improvement and technical development
