Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Erith to maintain electrical and mechanical systems across a fast-paced manufacturing site.

You will tackle breakdowns, execute Planned Preventive Maintenance, and support continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery. Relevant PLC fault-finding experience and a mechanical/electrical engineering qualification are essential.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Experience with PLCs and fault-finding using inputs/outputs.
• UK-based maintenance engineer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on site machinery.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform preventive maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives on the production line.
• Collaborate with operations to minimize downtime and optimise uptime.

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced industrial factory

Essential Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical)
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK
• Experience working with PLCs, ideally with fault-finding capability using inputs and outputs
