Job summary

An established, family-owned business near Boston, Lincolnshire, is looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across FMCG production equipment, diagnose breakdowns and reduce downtime while keeping maintenance records up to date.

This 4 on 4 off shift role offers days and nights from 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00, with overtime, training and clear progression paths as the site continues to modernise.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG manufacturing environments.
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Willingness to work 4 on 4 off shifts (days and nights).

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance across FMCG production machinery and site equipment.
• Fault finding and breakdown repairs; preventive planned maintenance (PPM).
• Operate 4 on 4 off shift pattern with day and night coverage.

Are you a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Shift Maintenance Engineer, or similar with experience working in an FMCG environment, looking to join a forward-thinking family-owned business offering upskilling, long-term progression, and optional overtime?

On offer is the opportunity to join a long-established food manufacturing business based near Boston, Lincolnshire. The company has invested heavily into its operations and infrastructure and is now looking for engineers to help support continued growth, modernisation, and improvement across the site.

In this varied role, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across automated production equipment, You will diagnose breakdowns, minimise downtime, complete maintenance records, and work closely with production teams to improve reliability, safety, and equipment performance.

This role would suit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with electrical and mechanical maintenance experience who is looking for a 4 on 4 off shift role, ongoing training, overtime, and the chance to develop within a growing FMCG manufacturing environment.

The Role:

• Planned and reactive maintenance across FMCG production machinery and site equipment
• Fault finding, breakdown repairs, PPM
• 4 on 4 off shift pattern, days and nights, 7:00am - 7:00pm / 7:00pm - 7:00am

The Person:

• Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Shift Maintenance Engineer, or similar
• Experience with FMCG, manufacturing, production machinery, or packaging equipment
• Commutable to Old Leake, Boston
