Job summary

Pioneer Selection is recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a busy FMCG site in Ruskington. You will be responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance on high-speed manufacturing equipment, responding to breakdowns and performing PPM.

A strong focus on continuous improvement will help maximise efficiency and minimise downtime. The role requires hands-on maintenance experience in a fast-paced factory, with a 4 on 4 off days/nights shift pattern and a competitive benefits

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding in a factory setting.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

Job Title - Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location - Ruskington

Salary - Up to £58,000

Shift - 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights)

A superb opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a supportive and collaborative engineering team within a busy FMCG manufacturing site. The company prides itself on a positive working culture where teamwork and mutual respect are at the centre of daily operations.

Working within a fast-paced FMCG environment, you will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance across a range of high-speed production and packaging machinery. You will respond to breakdowns, carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and play an active role in continuous improvement initiatives to maximise site efficiency and minimise downtime.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with pre-planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory environment.

Essential Requirements

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

Desirable Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience working with PLCs, ideally with the ability to fault-find using inputs and outputs.
