Job summary

Imperium Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias for a major manufacturing site in Nottinghamshire.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on presses, ovens and related machinery, work with production teams to minimise downtime, and ensure all work complies with health and safety procedures.

This role operates on a 3-shift pattern (8 hours) with a salary up to £45,000, 25 days holiday and a pension scheme, plus wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Mechanical qualification or equivalent.
• Electrical qualification would be an advantage but not essential.
• Mechanical background with some electrical work.
• Experience in heavy industry or manufacturing environments.
• Proactive, flexible and a strong team player.

As a Maintenance Engineer you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance and efficiency of plant and equipment across the site. From carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns and undertaking mechanical repairs across a range of machinery.

Key Responsibilities of a Maintenance Engineer

• Work closely with the production teams to minimise downtime
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety procedures
