We are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer with a HVAC bias to provide and maintain high-quality building maintenance support for our clients. You will be part of a team of multi-skilled technical support staff ensuring that services meet contractual requirements and comply with relevant regulations. You will also assist in supervising contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.

The ideal candidate will have:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Small Refrigeration
• City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (7189) Level 2 or 3
• City & Guilds Refrigeration, Air-conditioning, and Heat Pump Systems (6090) Level 3
• F-Gas Category 1 (City & Guilds 2079, formerly 2078 Safe Handling of Refrigerants)

You should be adaptable to flexible working hours (subject to the EU Working Time Directive) and demonstrate a proactive, positive approach. Effective workload prioritization and teamwork with other engineers/staff are essential, along with awareness of the business continuity plan.

You must have comprehensive knowledge and be capable of performing all facets of maintenance and installation within the scope of the contract. This includes completing planned preventative maintenance, maintaining assets per O&M Manuals, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies (fire safety, COSHH, PPE, PAT testing, etc.).

You will ensure building fabric elements are functional and operational, carry out reactive repairs within response times, diagnose and repair faults, and record all activities accurately. Responsibilities also include maintaining cleanliness, safety, and security of equipment, plant, rooms, and services.

A commitment to excellent customer service, understanding of current health & safety legislation, and statutory compliance are vital. Physical requirements include carrying tools and equipment up to 20kg, working at heights, and using vertical access equipment. A full UK driving license and availability for call-out duties are required.
