Job summary

Alexander Steele Recruitment, on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business, seeks a Multi-Skilled Engineer for their busy East Kilbride site on a Panama shift. You will join a strong engineering team, maintaining production equipment, responding to breakdowns and driving improvements to reliability and safety.

With time-served or suitably qualified background, you will have strong electrical and mechanical skills and a practical hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Time-served engineer or suitably qualified in electrical/mechanical maintenance.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Strong fault-finding and hands-on maintenance abilities.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding to minimise downtime.
• Responding to breakdowns and supporting improvements to equipment reliability.
• Working with Production to resolve technical issues and maintain safety standards.
