Job summary

Distinct Consultancy Group is seeking a Multi skilled engineer for a Bolton site on a panama shift. The role involves quick response to breakdowns, maintenance, and driving KPIs within a growing FMCG engineering team.

Salary is £53,206.40 per year, with a company pension and on-site parking. Candidates should have ONC/NVQ 3 or higher in maintenance engineering, good IT skills, and the ability to work with production teams and CMMS.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance FMCG or similar environment.
• Multi-skilled with ONC/NVQ 3 or higher in maintenance engineering.
• Strong communication and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to breakdowns and rectify issues safely and effectively.
• Ensure reports and records are completed correctly and on time.
• Support improvement initiatives and development of the engineering team.
• Help achieve engineering KPIs and targets.
• Participate in corrective and planned maintenance programs.
• Assist in developing and utilising the CMMS program.
• Mentor and support other team members.
• Maintain good relations with production and support functions.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards.
• Identify labour saving and productivity improvements with production teams.
• Provide engineering and technical support/training for Line Technicians.
