Job summary

Far'n'Beyond Ltd. in Harrogate, Yorkshire, is seeking a Multi Skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join a highly automated FMCG site.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on two production lines, fault-find electrical and mechanical issues, and support improvement initiatives to maximise line reliability. You will have strong PLC and servo system experience, an engineering qualification, and a track record in FMCG environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault finder.
• Experience with PLCs and servo systems.
• Engineering qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Knowledge of site services and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on high-speed lines.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using structured methods.
• Support continuous improvement projects to improve reliability.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis on recurring failures.
• Maintain engineering documentation and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with Production to minimise downtime.
