Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer for a large commercial building in Birmingham. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical services, with a mix of AHUs, FCUs, BMS and chillers.

The position offers a permanent, on-site setup with two rotating shifts (06:30–15:00 and 09:00–17:30) and an annual salary up to £40,000 plus a weekly callout payment of £200.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition Electrical Certification required.
• Experience with building services maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of AHUs, FCUs and BMS systems.
• Basic plumbing maintenance experience.
• Electrical apprenticeship desirable.

Responsibilities

Our client, a leading Facilities Management provider, is looking to recruit an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join the engineering team at a large commercial building in Birmingham.

This is a varied building services role covering both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of electrical and mechanical systems.

The Role

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance
• Work on AHUs, FCUs, BMS and chillers
• Complete general electrical maintenance and fault finding
• Carry out basic plumbing maintenance and repairs
• Support the wider engineering team with day-to-day building services issues
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard

Requirements

• 18th Edition Electrical Certification
• Strong building services maintenance experience
• Experience with AHUs, FCUs, BMS and chillers
• Basic plumbing maintenance experience
• Electrical apprenticeship desirable

Hours

Rotating shifts:

• 06:30 - 15:00
• 09:00 - 17:30

30-minute unpaid lunch.

Package
