Job summary

Empro Consultants in Birmingham are seeking a Multiskilled Electrical Engineer to join our facilities management team in Birmingham City Centre. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Perform reactive repairs and coordinate with sub-contractors when required.
• Complete PPM maintenance and report defects.
• Update site equipment status and logs accurately.
• Monitor sub-contractor performance and ensure quality of work.
• Sign off tasks via PDA in a timely manner.
• Maintain good relationships with client representatives.
• Ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
• Record paperwork accurately and maintain logs.
• Participate in call-out rota if applicable.

Job Title: Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer

Location: Birmingham City Centre

Role Purpose:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works on building equipment and systems, undertake small installations, and respond to engineering emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on electrical/mechanical systems per service agreements.
• Conduct reactive repairs, calling sub-contractors as needed.
• Complete PPM maintenance and report defects.
• Update weekly equipment status reports.
• Monitor sub-contractor performance and ensure work is completed correctly.
• Sign off completed tasks via PDA in a timely manner.
• Maintain a good relationship with client representatives.
• Ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
• Accurately maintain site logs and paperwork.
• Participate in call-out rota if applicable.

Requirements:

• Recognised Electrical Qualification
• C&G 18th Edition in Electrical Installations
• C&G Test and Inspection

• Familiarity with BS standards for electrical systems
