Ernest Gordon Recruitment is welcoming applications for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Birmingham. You will tackle breakdowns, perform preventative maintenance and support hydraulic, electrical and mechanical tasks across production machinery.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with mechanical and electrical skills.
• Able to respond to breakdowns and perform planned preventive maintenance.
• Commutable to Birmingham and available for Monday–Friday shifts.

Are you a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar with mechanical and electrical skills, looking to join an established manufacturing business offering machine training, uncapped overtime, and a quarterly production bonus?

On offer is the opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business where you will receive training on specialist machinery while supporting production across a busy site. You will work in a hands‑on maintenance role, helping to keep equipment running efficiently and reduce downtime across the business.

In this varied role, you will respond to machinery breakdowns, carry out planned preventative maintenance, fault find on mechanical and electrical systems, and support general maintenance across site equipment and production machinery. You will also work on hydraulic systems where required, assist with repairs, and help maintain safe and efficient operations.

This role would suit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with mechanical and electrical skills who is looking for a Monday to Friday role, training on machinery, uncapped overtime at enhanced rates, and the chance to develop within a manufacturing environment.

The Role:

• Responding to breakdowns and completing planned preventative maintenance
• Mechanical and electrical maintenance across production machinery, including hydraulics
• Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm, Friday 7:00am - 1:00pm, with uncapped enhanced overtime

The Person:

• Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar
• Mechanical and electrical maintenance skills
• Commutable to Birmingham
