Synergi Recruitment in the United Kingdom (Lincolnshire) is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a 24/7 FMCG operation. The role involves electrical and mechanical PLC fault-finding, with a 4 on 4 off night shift and a salary around £54,000 plus bonus and benefits.

You will handle fault-finding, preventive maintenance, and improve reliability on high-speed packaging machinery, with audit-ready documentation and strong compliance with food safety and H&S standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or above in Engineering.
• FMCG/manufacturing experience essential; PLC fault analysis experience (preferred).
• IOSH qualification or willing to complete.
• Commutable to Lincolnshire.

This is a role for a multi skilled maintenance engineer who is confident working across electrical and mechanical systems, ideally with experience in PLC fault-finding. Youll support a 24/7 operation, responding quickly and resolving issues promptly the first time.

The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Role:

• Fault-finding, problem-solving, and preventive maintenance
• Working with high-speed production and packaging machinery
• Logging work and ensuring audit-ready documentation
• Complying with food safety and H&S standards
• Supporting improvements in reliability and operational efficiency

The Successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
