Job summary

Henderson Brown Recruitment Limited is recruiting two Multi-Skilled Engineers for a leading food production facility in North Lincolnshire. The roles are in a high-speed, high-volume environment with a 4 on 4 off days and nights rotation.

You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and perform preventative maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in manufacturing, a vocational engineering qualification (NVQ/BTEC/HNC/HND or equivalent),

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems in manufacturing or production.
• Relevant engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3, BTEC, HNC/HND or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Practical knowledge of maintaining and troubleshooting automated machinery, preferably in packaging or food processing environments.
• Ability to react to breakdowns and perform preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs across electrical and mechanical systems to minimise production downtime.
• Take a hands-on approach in both scheduled maintenance and immediate breakdown response.
• Maintain, optimise, and repair equipment including slicing systems, seasoning units, conveyors, and automated packaging lines.
• Participate in ongoing improvement initiatives to increase machine efficiency and reduce unplanned stoppages.
• Work closely with operations and production teams to ensure smooth running of equipment and minimal disruption.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and internal maintenance procedures at all times.

These roles are essential to maintaining production performance and driving continuous improvements across the site, working on a 4 on 4 off days and nights rotation.
