Job summary

Stirling Warrington Limited in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our busy food manufacturing site. You will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across production and packaging machinery.

The role requires hands-on expertise with mechanical and electrical fault-finding, a Level 3 engineering qualification, and a proactive approach to problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer in manufacturing.
• Experience in food manufacturing or high-speed production is desirable.
• Multi-skilled with mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience.
• Level 3 engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent) required.
• Strong health and safety understanding and proactive fault-finding approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production and packaging machinery.
• Maintain and service mixers, ovens, conveyors, cutters, wrapping equipment and related lines.
• Support a fast-paced production environment and ensure minimal downtime.

We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join a busy, high-volume food manufacturing site in Wellingborough!

Day to day you ll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across a wide variety of production and packaging machinery, including mixers, ovens, conveyors, cutters, wrapping machinery and much more.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer within a manufacturing environment
• Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or another high-speed production environment desirable
• Multi-skilled with both mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience
• Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of health & safety and safe working practices
• Proactive approach to fault-finding and problem-solving
• Time-served apprenticeship desirable
