Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical bias) to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant, equipment and building services across client sites. Northampton site included in the scope.

The role requires fault finding on 3-phase systems, maintenance of motors/gearboxes/valves, and adherence to safety with risk assessments and permits.

Qualifications

• Recognised or time served apprenticeship in electrical/mechanical maintenance.
• Strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance and multi-skill work.
• Electrical qualifications up to 17th Edition (City & Guilds) and related NVQs.
• Experience with 3-phase motors, drives, inverters and PLC diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks to the client via equipment on site, update drawings and spares.
• Fault finding on all types of machinery and liaising with site services for issues.
• Provide electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance team.
• Work on three-phase systems up to 440V, maintain motors, gears, valves.
• Supervise contractors and deputise the Shift Leader during leave or sickness.
• Draft Risk Assessments and Permits; maintain safety and documentation.
