Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer to perform Electrical and Mechanical maintenance on plant, equipment and building services. The role covers risk assessments, PM improvements, fault finding and collaboration with clients on needs.

The successful candidate will work on three-phase systems up to 440V and support site services, with opportunities to lead maintenance tasks and supervise contractors as required.

Qualifications

• Recognised or Time Served Apprenticeship.
• Strong proven maintenance experience in manufacturing or facilities.
• Electrical qualifications up to 17th Edition (City & Guilds).
• Mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds standards.
• Experience with 3-phase motors, drives and inverters.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic system experience.
• Ability to fault find on complex equipment.
• NVQ levels in electrical and mechanical work.
• Ability to supervise contractor teams on site.
• Capable of writing risk assessments and method statements.
• Able to understand and draft permit-related documents.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks to the client through equipment on site.
• Update drawings, identify critical spares and improve PM programs.
• Fault find on all types of machinery and support Health & Safety.
• Provide electrical and mechanical expertise to maintenance dept.
• Work on heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes.
• Use CAFM system to plan and record maintenance tasks.
• Liaise with onsite services to resolve building services issues.
• Act as department lead when required and cover for the Shift Leader.
• Work overtime, including nights or weekends when needed.
