Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to maintain electrical and mechanical plant and building services across client sites in a fast-paced environment.

The role covers heavy industrial machinery, cranes, risk assessments, and CAFM-based planning. A recognised apprenticeship and City & Guilds electrical qualifications (17th Edition) are required, with PLC diagnostics and fault-finding skills highly valued. Overtime is possible.

Qualifications

• Recognised or time served Apprenticeship.
• Experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Electrical qualifications to 17th Edition (City & Guilds 236 Pt 1-2).
• Mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds level.
• Strong multi skilled capability and fault finding.
• NVQ Level 2 Electrical and Mechanical.
• Ability to supervise contractors and write permits.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks to the client through equipment on site, update drawings and spares.
• Maintain plant, equipment and building services, including heavy machinery and cranes.
• Fault find on all types of machinery and support Health & Safety initiatives.
• Write Risk Assessments and Method Statements; plan daily work and use CAFM system.
• Work on three-phase systems up to 440V; operate hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Liaise with Site Services and deputise the Shift Leader during absences.
