Job summary

Omega Plc in Bath is seeking a Multi-Skilled Builder/Roofer to deliver reactive roofing repairs and general maintenance across commercial, education, industrial and retail sites. The role requires diagnosing leaks, carrying out paving, slab laying and external repair works, while ensuring health and safety on site.

You will travel to client sites across the Midlands and South of England, work within a team of mobile engineers, complete accurate job documentation, and stay away from home when

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair roof leaks as part of reactive roofing repairs.
• Carry out paving, slab laying, external repairs and other building works.
• Complete job documentation and provide updates on completed works.

Job description

reactive roofing repairs including diagnosing and rectifying roof leaks. Undertake general building maintenance works across commercial, education, industrial and retail sites, including paving, slab laying, repairs and external building works, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard of workmanship. Work collaboratively as part of a wider team of mobile engineers and maintenance professionals. Accurately complete job documentation and provide updates on completed works and any follow-on requirements. Travel to client sites throughout the Midlands and South of England, with occasional periods working away from home.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Multi-Skilled Builder / Roofer
• Previous experience within general building maintenance, roofing or multi-skilled construction environments.
• Ability to carry out a broad range of reactive building repairs and maintenance works.
• Experience fault finding and repairing leaking roofs would be highly advantageous.

Competent in general building tasks including paving, slab laying and external repair works. Good understanding of health and safety requirements on client sites. Full UK driving licence is essential. Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home when required.
