Job summary

Omega Plc in Newport, Wales, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Builder / Roofer to carry out reactive roofing repairs and general building maintenance across commercial, education, industrial and retail sites. You will diagnose leaks, complete external repairs, paving and slab laying, and work safely to high workmanship standards.

The role involves travel to client sites throughout the Midlands and South of England, with periods away from home.

Qualifications

• Multi-Skilled Builder / Roofer.
• Experience in general building maintenance, roofing or multi-skilled construction environments.
• Ability to carry out a broad range of reactive building repairs and maintenance works.
• Experience fault finding and repairing leaking roofs would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Reactive roofing repairs including diagnosing and rectifying roof leaks.
• Undertake general building maintenance across commercial, education, industrial and retail sites, including paving, slab laying and external repairs.
• Travel to client sites throughout the Midlands and South of England, with occasional periods working away from home.
• Accurately complete job documentation and provide updates on completed works and follow-on requirements.
