WHSmith Travel is seeking a Store Operations Manager to drive operational excellence and lead store performance for the Large Air Division. You will support the Multi-Site Store Manager in delivering the trading plan and shaping talent strategies across all WHSmith Travel stores.

You will coach Store Managers, ensure compliance, manage budgets and collaborate with commercial teams to optimise sales while delivering an exceptional customer experience across airports and travel hubs.

Responsabilités

• Shaping and influencing the People Strategy to drive exceptional performance and embed a people-first culture across WHSmith Travel.
• Coaching and empowering Store Managers to develop talent and succession plans across all stores.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust talent and performance plans.
• Driving a culture of commercial excellence to maximise sales and customer spend.
• Owning the customer selling strategy and ensuring a world-class customer journey.
• Ensuring safe and legal compliance and daily delivery across stores.
• Monitoring budgets, costs and annual plans to maximise profit and productivity.
• Analysing data to identify actions and improve reporting practices.
• Leading large airport stores during investor visits and community engagement.
