Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a professional Relief Officer to provide flexible security cover across multiple client sites. You will patrol sites, monitor CCTV, log activity, and respond to incidents while maintaining high standards of service and client relations.

Ideal candidates will hold a valid SIA licence, Right to Work in the UK, and a clean driving record. The role requires adaptability to different environments and shifts, and a professional image at all times.

Qualifications

• Must have the Right to Work in the UK and ability to pass BS7858 vetting.
• Valid SIA Licence.
• UK Driving licence and use of own vehicle.
• Confident computer literacy and ability to operate security systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional security cover across multiple client sites, ensuring a consistently high standard of service delivery.
• Conduct regular site patrols and inspections in accordance with assignment instructions.
• Monitor premises visually and via CCTV systems, responding to alarms and incidents.
• Record vehicle movements, visitor access, contractor attendance, and all site activities.
• Ensure access control procedures are followed and maintain accurate incident logs.
• Provide flexible support across locations and cover leave and shortfalls to maintain service continuity.
