Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an Area Support Officer to deliver flexi-site security across multiple client locations. You will patrol, log activities, monitor CCTV, and respond to incidents while maintaining professional standards and safeguarding people and assets.

Ideal candidates will hold an SIA licence, have Right to Work in the UK, a driving licence, and strong communication skills. The role requires flexible shifts and travel between sites, with ongoing vetting and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK is required.
• Valid SIA licence is essential.
• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle preferred.
• Competent with standard computer systems and CCTV/access control interfaces.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide security cover across multiple client sites with a professional approach.
• Carry out site patrols and inspections according to site procedures.
• Monitor CCTV and respond to alarms or incidents promptly.
• Maintain accurate logs of activity, incidents, and visitor movements.
• Support site safety and security, ensuring asset protection at all times.
• Adapt to flexible deployment locations and shift patterns as required.
