Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an Area Support Officer to provide flexible security cover across multiple client locations. You will monitor sites, conduct patrols, and maintain logs while ensuring safety and security across varied environments.

The role requires a professional, reliable individual with strong communication skills, vigilance, and the ability to adapt quickly. A valid SIA licence, UK work eligibility, and a driving licence with access to a vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have the SIA Licence.
• Must have the Right to Work in the UK and be able to pass BS7858 vetting.
• UK driving licence and use of own vehicle are required.
• Good computer literacy and ability to operate security systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional security cover across multiple client sites, ensuring a high standard of service.
• Conduct regular site patrols and inspections following site procedures.
• Monitor premises via CCTV and respond to alarms and incidents.
• Maintain accurate logs of logs, visits, vehicle movements and contractor attendance.
• Ensure access control procedures are followed and security records are kept up to date.
• Support safety and security of people, property, assets and premises at all times.
