Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Relief Officer to provide flexible security cover across multiple client locations. The role requires adaptability, professionalism, and a customer‑facing approach to protect people, property and assets.

You will monitor sites, conduct patrols, maintain records, respond to incidents, and support business continuity through flexible deployment, including days, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in the UK and be able to pass BS7858 vetting.
• Valid SIA Licence is essential.
• UK Driving licence and own vehicle preferred.
• Confident with computers and security systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and vigilance.
• Professional appearance and conduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional security cover across multiple client sites with high service standards.
• Conduct regular site patrols and inspections per instructions.
• Monitor premises via CCTV, respond to alarms and incidents.
• Record logs, vehicle movements, visitor access and attendance.
• Maintain accurate security records and reports.
• Ensure access control procedures are followed per site rules.
• Support site safety and security across locations.
• Adapt to varying environments and shift patterns.
• Deliver excellent customer service and represent OCS professionally.
